Pablo Devigo is a dynamic orchestral conductor and harpsichordist with a passion for both historical performance practice and contemporary music. Currently serving as the Artistic Director at Música d’Outrora in the UK, Devigo brings innovative interpretations to the stage, captivating audiences with his artistic vision.
With a rich educational background, Pablo Devigo holds a Master of Music in Harpsichord at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, studying with Fabio Bonizzoni and Patrick Ayrton, and earned a Master of Music in Conducting from the Cleveland Institute of Music under the tutelage of Carl Topilow. Currently, he is pursuing a Professional Diploma in Harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music, where he studies under Carole Cerasi and James Johnstone.
Pablo has gained valuable experience through prestigious fellowships such as the Making Music Philip & Dorothy Green Young Artist Scheme and the Brighton Early Music Festival Young Artists Scheme. He has also participated in renowned music festivals including the Aspen Music Festival. Recently, he has been awarded Harriet Cohen Prize 2023-2024 as a harpsichordist.
Pablo has collaborated with esteemed musicians and conductors, including serving as Assistant Conductor to Paul Daniel at the Real Filharmonía de Galicia in Spain (2019) and Janna Hymes at the Carmel Symphony Orchestra in the USA (2019-2020). In the field of Historical Performance, he has been fortunate to participate in masterclasses and coachings with notable figures such as Steven Devine, Pavlo Beznosiuk, Margaret Faultless, and William Christie.
